New order to modernize a cold strip slitting line

KERN Industrie Automation was contracted to modernize the automation system of a cold strip slitting line. The German client, a producer of hardened and unhardened quality and high-grade strip steel, receives the following services, among others:

– Replacement of the old S5 controller with S7 technology

– Modernization of the HMI system based on SIMATIC WinCC

– Modernization of special sensors

– New plant documentation based on EPLAN P8
