New order to modernize strip coiler group

KERN Industrie Automation was commissioned to replace the electrical equipment for the coiler group in a strip polishing machine. The German customer located in Hagen, a producer of high-strength, tempered strip steel, will receive new power control cabinets, a new fail-safe SIEMENS S7 PLC with ET200 remote I/O units, as well as new drive encoders and various local operator stations.

The implementation is scheduled for next winter shutdown at the end of 2022.

With the order, the long-standing customer renewed his confidence in the services of KERN Industrie Automation.
